As part of the CAFAMORE project, Agrosolutions and I4CE are bringing together stakeholders interested in the financing of carbon farming. The webinar, the first directly organised by the project, aims to better understand the drivers and barriers to the development of demand for certificates under the Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) Regulation. The webinar will take place on October 6th, 11:00-12:30 (CEST), and is particularly aimed at demand-side stakeholders, including actors involved in the voluntary carbon market (VCM), as well as stakeholders exploring Scope 3 in-value-chain approaches to support carbon farming.

The webinar will include a presentation of the market stakeholder mapping and the main factors that may drive or hinder demand, based on the project’s work, followed by an insight from the European Commission on the Buyers’ Club and the challenges related to its implementation. The webinar will conclude with a roundtable discussion featuring three voluntary carbon market stakeholders, who will share their experience of the challenges encountered in developing carbon projects and their views on the conditions needed to foster demand for agricultural carbon credits.

This webinar will launch a series of working groups aimed at developing shared views and concrete proposals to bring forward to policymakers.
